38th Annual Pumpkin Festival
*October 8, 2016*
Parade: 9am: Line up for participants will start at 8am on Wilma Lane, beside Pumpkintown Fire Department. Parade starts at 9am, and will travel down Highway 8 (Pumpkintown Highway) to Hwy 135 past the Oolenoy Community Building.
Festival 9am - 5pm: Our grounds will be filled with vendors selling handcrafted items and delicious foods! Come and browse through, see the sights, listen to the music, and enjoy this one day event!
Coffee, cold drinks, biscuits, and pumpkin pie will be for sale inside the Oolenoy building beginning at 6am.
There will be an area if rides for children of all ages! There's fun for the whole family!
Service animals are welcome, but no pets are allowed. Please leave them safely at home.

Oolenoy Community House, Est. 1918, a SC National Heritage Corridor Site, and the home of the Pumpkin Festival.
This building is available to rent for reunions, social gatherings, and other special events. Please contact Eden Davis for availability at (864)420-7634 .
Not only will you be able to browse through a fantastic assortment of beautiful handmade crafts by over 150 vendors, but you will hear Country/Bluegrass musicians playing live on stage, see the cloggers, smell the BBQ and other foods cooking in the fresh mountain air, and taste some of the finest food anywhere! Admission is FREE, too! What's NOT to love about the Pumpkin Festival??!!
BBQ Chicken Plates...
Available for sale at 11:30am, or as soon as the chicken is cooked, these plates are sure to please! Get yours before we run out! Served with baked beans, coleslaw, a roll and sweet tea.

We also offer toddler, youth, and adult sized t-shirts for sale, as well as sweatshirts, bags, car tags, and coffee mugs! We have books for sale on the history of the Oolenoy community, too!
